We offer after hour emergency service for birds and exotic pets at limited times when the doctor is available. If you are experiencing an emergency with your bird or exotic pet, you may page us at 630-342-1037. Dr Ness will attempt to return your call as soon as possible (usually within 15 to 30 minutes) and arrange an after hours emergency visit. If Dr Ness does not receive your page or he is unavailable to return your call, please attempt to page again or call your local veterinary emergency service or one of those listed below.
If you need immediate service or it is outside the hours posted here, please call one of the Emergency Clinics listed below for assistance. These are fully staffed emergency veterinary clinics who consistently treat birds and exotic pets after regular business hours. You may also try contacting your local emergency clinic which may have staff trained to treat exotic pets. Any Emergency Veterinary Clinic can assist you with dog or cat emergency situations.
