Brandon Ramsbottom, DVM

Dr. Ramsbottom earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Midwestern University College of Veterinary Medicine. During veterinary school he developed a strong interest in the care of exotic companion animals, including reptiles, birds, rabbits, and other small mammals. He pursued additional training with these species through multiple externships at exotic animal clinics.

Raised in Oswego, Illinois, Dr. Ramsbottom first became familiar with Ness Exotic Wellness Center as a client and later returned during his clinical year of veterinary school for an externship. He is excited to now be joining the team and looks forward to continuing to learn from and collaborate with the experienced veterinarians at the clinic.

Dr. Ramsbottom has a particular interest in reptile medicine and enjoys helping owners better understand the husbandry and environmental factors that support exotic pets to thrive.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Ramsbottom is an avid birdwatcher and long-time reptile keeper. He currently shares his home with a boa constrictor (Nagini) and a bearded dragon (Noah).
