
TRINA S. KRUMM, DVM, CVA
Veterinarian
Dr. Trina Krumm grew up in rural North Dakota surrounded by animals. She graduated with honors from North Dakota State University receiving a bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and minors in Animal Science and Chemistry. Dr. Trina obtained her doctorate of veterinary medicine from Iowa State University (ISU) where she was actively involved in the Zoo, Exotics, and Wildlife Club, Association of Reptilian and Amphibian Veterinarians Student Chapter, Association of Avian Veterinarians Student Chapter, Aquatic Animal Medicine Club, and Christian Veterinary Fellowship Chapter. She worked for ISU’s Wildlife Care Clinic and volunteered in ISU’s exotic department. She furthered her education at Ness Exotic Wellness Center and The Avian and Exotic Animal Clinic of Indianapolis. Dr. Trina is a certified veterinary acupuncturist (CVA, Chi Institute), Fear Free Professional (Fear Free Pets), and wildlife rehabilitator via the International Wildlife Rehabilitation Council.
Dr. Trina’s passions for exotic animal medicine and integrative medicine drew her back to Ness Exotic Wellness Center. Outside of medicine, her hobbies include traveling, horseback riding, house-plants, reading, and writing. She is the proud owner of her dog (Aslan), cat (Faramir), rabbits (Sage and Dynamite), spiny mice (Porthos and Athos), corn snake (Caritas), and crested gecko (Volashro).
